Also in Helsinki the buildings are made from glass.

Stormy weather

Normally the see is frozen on this time of the year but today it looks like this -- stormy. We hope little bit snow for Christmas time but this year we do not have it. Temperature is about + 5 celsius.

The Icy Surface

It has been very warm here in Finland again during this autumn and the start of winter. We don't have snow now like normally on the Christmas time, but It's nice to see frostworks on the ground on some mornings.

The Eyes

So nice eyes and whiskers of our daughters cat. It is just now visiting us ---- it is allowed only on the Christmas time.

Christmas Father in Stockholm

Here it is --- I saw The Christmas Father in the window in Stockholm. So small --- could it be the original??

Light Drawing

Now, when its too dark to take nice nature pictures, it is possible to play with lights. Set long shutter time and move the camera as you like and the light is drawing your arts.

The Old Station

Here is the old railway station of Pukinmäki in Helsinki. It has been staying here too long. Nobody can't decide what to do with it. Now it looks like funny art subject.

Waiting the Winter

The winter is coming very slowly. Temperature is about zero. Quite suitable weather. Today I made walking trip nearby taking some pictures. here you can see some.

The Snow Defrosts

The first snow is going away and the darkness is coming again.

The First Snow in Helsinki and The Traffic

Today it was snowing first time for this autumn. I'm happy, not very much. I took quick picture by the way here.

Autumns Colors

Autumn is always colorful. These are quite mild in colors, but pictures shows somehow the autumns growth an death. Many kind of mushrooms are growing up and the leaves are dropping down and the moisture makes them to dye.

Helsinki Yesterday

Yesterday I visited Lauttasaari in Helsinki and there the grass was nicely cutted. Here you can see also the the grasscutters.

The Horse-chestnut

Now it is the season for harvest. These nuts were on the street and I did not any installations -- they were there already as in picture. The autumn has been nice, quite warm but rainy of course. The temperature has been over ten decrees celsius.

Waiting bath company

Here the bathtub is waiting for you. Perhaps its summer meaning is over - you can guess.

The clovers still blooming

Despite of autumn some clovers are still blooming. Tonight I took some pictures which shows that we have temperature still high enough for blooming.

The summer is ower -- or not

The summers flora is still trying to grow even if it is autumn already. This is only one example of that.

Todays Picture

I made picture trip to Mustavuori today. This is picture of some kind of very small swamp - apr 5-10mm eatch. And also I put here its partners 1-2mm of diameter - those yellow ones. I don't know the names or other details at all. Only that -- they looks nice.

Granberry

Granberry is autumns berry tasting strongly as swamp but it is breezy and healty -- nice berry. I like it in cakes, porridges etc..
Here it is alone as dropped but it seems nice.

Autumns Pine

This Pine is already dead, but its fine surface is living as yuo can see. Its holes are also interesting -- which kind of insects made them?

Mushrooms

It has been very rainy time here just now. It means, that we have many kind of swamps here too. If you are very eager to see more last weekends mushrooms, you can see them on my site sienet.

More Colours

Well here is more of colourfull pictures. The leaves are now like this one.

Autumn in Finland

It is Autumn in Helsinki now, The leaves are colourful or brown. The green time is over. Soon it is coming snow and temperature will be under 0 deg celsius -- it meens winter time, which is quite long here in Finland.

The Sky

Well, the autumn is here now. The sky shows the situation. Everywhere is too dark and it is difficult to take good pictures. I hope clearer weather because the autumn is also good time to take good photos.

The Homes for Birds

Because the people are living in the towers of flats, it's necessary to make similar houses for birds too. This is in Helsinki.

I think that this is a little bit hot to eat.

The Cat

The cats face --- is it angry, serious or something other?

Very strange swamp

I have seen many kind of swamps, but this is the one which is no familiar. It is living on the birch's stub in croups of three to five peaces.

The snalls home

Some snalls have the shell as a home. Its spiral looks nice.

Mirror

The metal cubic here is like mirror -- girls face reflects from it nicely.

Arts Nigth in Helsinki

In Helsinki there was very impressive show by a group, which was specialiced to dangle on the tall bars.

Toes in Helsinki

It's time to put toes from Helsinki here. Them are much more dark than toes in Triere.

Long Legs

Have you noticed that some flies have long legs --- here you can see them.

Big Eyes

O, these dragonflies have so big, beautiful eyes - do they! And here the other one is keeping this firmly from the neck. I am not sure if this violent keeping is one part of their sexy.
