These arts I was wondering before - what they are. Today I notised that them have varied lights and sounds in the art frames -- very interesting! Here you can also see Anneli staying in the art!

Birds

Here in the darkness you can find birds trying keep themself warm in coldness.

At St Laurents river

The river is still open, but of course the waterside is beginning to freeze. On the upper picture you can see fog and snow coming again.

Snow storm in Montreal

Today we got here in Montreal really good snow storm. During the day falled down a lot of snow and the wind was quite bad causing snow to pack to high walls. Some time it was really difficult to see anything. Perhaps tomorrow this is over. In the news they told just, that today it snowed over 40 cm and it is the record after 1969.

Holiday greetings from Quebec

We visited this week Quebec City, apr. 200km from Montreal. This is a shoppingstreet just outside from the city wall.

This Montmorency Falls is about 10 km from the centrum of Quebec City and it is higher than Niagara falls in US. Unfortunatelly the weather during our visit was quite bad - snowing and very dark. I'm sure that it looks wonderfull on spring.

A One Wet Day in Ottawa

 

 

  

 

 

 

 Last weekend it was time to visit Ottawa, the Capital City of Canada. Because of the wet weather we visited also the Parlament Hall. It is very interest place with its architectual solution. Just now it was very beautiful having christmas trees and decorations in the building. In the inner city it was not so nice to walk because it was snowing very wet flakes.

Fireworks in Montréal

Now here are fireworks on every saturday evening at Old Port. Last saturday I walked there to see and take some pictures. Anneli was sitting at home to try see some trough our home window, but she saw only some lights around without really fireworks. To me it was also somekind training trip guessing the right place to stay.

Christmas lights in Montréal

Here you can see beautiful light decorations by the streets and it is enjouable to walk around here on the evenings. Weather has been cold but nice and clear. We had a little snow a few days ago but  it melted when it was suddenly over 10 deg C warm.
