More Ice after the wind on Pulkkilanharju, Asikkala.

The sun is up only short time just now, but it is giving nice golden light to icy subjects.

Now we got cold weather also in Helsinki. Ponds, small lakes etc. have now thin ice on them. The see is still open.

Vanhankaupunginkoski rapid and fall

On the evening the fall loks nice and in the rapid you can see some ficures or effects in water like here waterlady resting in water.

Tapani's Day

On Tapani's Day the weather was windy and quite cold. The clouds went at high speed and the sun was low.

Full moon on the Christmas Day

It is rarely possible to take full moon pictures on Christmas Day, but this year it was. I get it trough the thin clouds, but it seems quite clear.

It was interesting to look the water swirl at the rapid.

I hope that you have had nice year. Two days ago we had the shortist day of the year and today it looks allready clearly lighter than then. Soon it is again spring and summer etc... Below you see pictures which are taken in the beginning of last January in Lappland. Sun get allready above the horizon, giving nice light.

In the new area of Pasila there is quite similar houses with different color of the attic.

...and its stairs. Very popular palace in the summer time.

Visit to Alitalo Cider Farm in Lohjansaari

The trip was interested even though we did not see any open flowers but only buds.

Sipoonkorpi forest in Helsinki area in Finland

This is quite new nature park in Helsinki area. It's little bit hard to get but it is still very natural.
This morning was foggy and wet as you can see in the pictures and so the forest was silent, and only the song of birds was audible. Enjoyable!
